Welcome to Rodbenders SAC
Rodbenders Sea Angling Club was founded in 1968 and enjoys and enviable local reputation as a small, but friendly club that encourages enthusiastic competition amongst its members.
We are very active in the Plymouth & District Shore League, with three teams (Rodbenders, Raiders and Rebels) competing in this competition. The club is a member of the Angling Trust, the national body that seeks to represent the views of all anglers and a member of the Plymouth Federation of Sea Angling Clubs and Indvidual Sea Anglers, an association of ten local clubs.
Membership
The club is run on a friendly and informal basis and has a current membership of about 40. New members, both Seniors and Juniors, are particularly welcome.

Events
We hold a number of events throughout the year, including in-house competitions and social get-togethers.

Plymouth & District Shore League
This is an inter club competition that is usually keenly contested by 4 man teams and in which the club has participated since the League was formed in 1973.
